To Change or Not To Change

As many who have checked the Frequently Asked Questions section may already know, this site, is not the only one on the webs with the title, Pet Shop Insider. For the first month since we have been in operation, there has been little to no issue with that fact.


What however has emerged as a result from this site's growth is a concern that the other site (which came first) will begin to over-lap with our own, or worse yet, we will cannibalize one another's traffic unjustly or unsportingly.

As a matter of course, I am considering the option of paying the money to have this site's name permanently changed... and all the time consuming problems of changing the Facebook pages, and the Twitter Accounts, et al.

Sure, this matter could have been easily circumvented had I noticed before I purchased the domain for this site, that there was another operating under an almost identical title. I can only say that once the purchase was made, it seemed too much trouble to pay the money to change again.

Now however, the site's growth demands that this site place as much distance as possible from its competitors, and as the second to plate, I will make the change.

What I offer below is a list of possible name variants to which this site can change to, and I'll let you readers and fans choose which is best.

Pet Shop Daily News
Pet Shop Daily (WINNER!)
The Pet Shop Post

UPDATE:

As of this afternoon, with enough support, I made the decision to go ahead and change the name. None too soon it may seem, as the waters for an all inclusive fan-site are stirring.

Now why would I want that?
